Born in Sant Quintí de Mediona (Barcelona) in 1936. He went
on to study at the art school d’Arts i Oficis Artístics
in Barcelona and was trained in the art of comic drawing at the
workshop of Selecciones Ilustradas.
The main body of his production in professional drawing - particulary
comic drawing - is destined abroad, especially England and Denmark
.
He has also worked for a number of North American and German companies,
as well as for other European countries on a less frequent bases.
It is worth mentioning his input towards illustrated literature
for young people. In this specific field, his production has been
some twenty adventure novels: a genre he is particulary skilled
at due to his command of chiaroscuro and his vigorous stroke.
He currently combines both his passions for oil painting and for
comic drawing; and has been doing a daily comic strip for the English
newspaper The Sun for over twenty years. |
